Inspired by British industrial style, the British Charm project stands out with its unique combination of materials and furnishings. Despite its aesthetic appeal, the space still manages to exude a warm and comforting ambiance.
In the private area, the master bedroom features a white bed headboard that adds an irregular and elegant touch. The vivid blue wall and gold ceiling light enhance the layers of aesthetics in the room. A nightstand by the bed provides space for books, plants, and even candles, adding to the cozy atmosphere. Additionally, a sliding TV wall frees up space for a large closet made of architectural-concreted panels.
In the public area, a red brick wall, a hallmark of industrial style, complements the dark-colored TV bench, creating a serene and captivating color scheme. Black iron shelves installed on the wall behind the sofa add a touch of joy to the residential space.
A unique feature of the design is a Japanese-style room partitioned by an iron net wall, combining Japanese aesthetics with the industrial nature of the space. To meet the client's multiple requests, an adjustable table is installed in this room, transforming it into a versatile space for storage and socializing with friends.
The British Charm project, spanning 100 square meters, was completed in November 2019 in Keelung, Taiwan. It presented several creative, technical, and research challenges that were successfully overcome to deliver a truly exceptional design.
The British Charm project has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards, contributing to a better world.
